For pilgrims who prefer to travel as comfortably as possible on the Way of St James, unburdened by their rucksack, Correos will transport their rucksack between most of their pilgrimage stages:

Paq Mochila is an option offered by CORREOS for transporting your rucksack and suitcases to your chosen accommodation along the Way of St James. It will collect your items first thing in the morning at the accommodation stated and deliver them before 2.30 pm to your chosen hostel, hotel or lodging for the next stage. That way you can travel along the Way of St James unburdened by your luggage.

We are offering this rucksack-transport service between stages along the French Way from Roncesvalles and Somport, along the  Portuguese Way from Tui, along  Camino Primitivo or Original Way from Oviedo, along the North Way from Irún, along the English Way from Ferrol, along the Sanabrés Way  from Ourense and the  Way to Fisterra and Muxía .

NOTE: Due to the situation caused by Covid-19, this year we are providing our backpack and luggage transfer service on all the routes from 1 July 2020, but this may be affected by the recommendations of health authorities in each of the provinces. Therefore, we recommend checking the availability of the routes beforehand via email paqmochila@correos.com
